Located within a gated subdivision in Bakersfield, California, the Morgan Residence was designed to create an estate-like feel. Every view within the home has been intentionally crafted to connect with the exterior landscaping, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The entry courtyard enhances this connection, inviting visitors to be enveloped by the design as they approach the entrance. The clients, a young, growing family, requested a floor plan that includes playful features such as hidden rooms and an interior slide.
