At the Foothill Residence, the outdated plan included significant unusable square footage. The primary objective of the remodel was to reconfigure the floor plan to add sleeping accommodations for the client’s growing family while staying within the exterior footprint. The owners also wanted to emphasize privacy while maximizing panoramic ocean views. Our solution involved simplifying the roofline, adding an additional bedroom and bathroom, vaulting the ceilings, and incorporating an interior courtyard.
